                           Automated Machinery

This privately held manufacturer of machinery used in the packaging of world class consumer products has created a new role to further enhance their consistent growth.  Offering a close knit culture of success and employee empowerment, they continue to grow by offering highly engineered equipment and components that continue to set industry standards.  Additionally, by partnering with other industry leaders, their equipment is used in many of the Fortune 500 companies producing well known food, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

*Develop and execute global sales strategies that align with organizational goals.

*Directly manage the sales team of Regional Managers by setting and supporting realistic goals and expectations.

*Build and maintain key customer relationships with an established network of customers

*Enhance the results with key OEM’s and Independent Sales Reps while serving as the key contact to ensure customer satisfaction.

*Work closely with Engineering, Production and Customer Service teams to achieve company objectives.

*A BA or BS degree in Business, Engineering or related field

*A minimum of 7+ years of successful sales of capital equipment preferably in the packaging and/or automation world

*Proven experience directly managing a sales team resulting in consistent growth and meeting established goals and incentives

*Strong communication skills both written and oral

*Technical skills with a track record of selling highly engineered equipment

*Ability to build trust both internally and externally in the pursuit of company objectives

*Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
